Young Household
I scheduled 3 haircuts and 3 white tea masks for my daughters. They have had the conditioning treatments several times before and they were always put under a heater for a while with the tea mask in their hair. This time, the oldest daughter’s stylist left it in for the requisite time but no heat. The stylists for the youngest 2 washed it out right away in the sink. I asked and they said they didn’t have enough time.
Everyone was polite but I was charged for 2 treatments that we didn’t receive. This isn’t the first time that we were rushed through without getting what we paid for. I asked for credit for the tea masks and was denied. Overall, the cut was good, but I was charged for three expensive services we didn’t receive

I’ve tried 4 different stylists in the past two years with disastrous results.
Today I was fortunate enough to meet the stylist of my dreams. Her name is Kirsta, friendly, knowledgeable, professional only begin to describe how AMAZING she is.
I have curly hair which is difficult to cut and style to meet my high standards. Kirsta tamed my out-of-control mane into the perfect sleek and sophisticated bob. I am in love with my hair again, thank you Kirsta.
I am also impressed with the customer service I received from the supporting staff and the ambiance of the salon.
I look forward to my next appointment. Thank you, gracious ladies, of BJ’s Grand Salon.

Had Balayage done by Taryn at @the West location recently? She is nice and seemed to listen to me however the job was subpar. I felt like she listened but didn’t really process what I was saying. I brought an inspiration picture and she looked at it and said: “that’s great but for less maintenance, this is what we should do”. I didn’t care for the maintenance I just wanted the look on the picture I brought in. The ultimate color was just ok and I had to go back for a color correction.
At the visit for the correction, I again stated I was not happy with the color and again she didn’t even offer to work with me for a long-term plan.
I’m not a stubborn customer and I understand that going lighter can take time but it seemed as though she did not want was not interested in getting me where I wanted to be.
On the flip side, I had a facial with @Brittanie that was FANTASTIC and I consider this to be the redeeming quality of this place.
Amanda M. Saint Cloud, FL 9/9/2017 I’m done with this salon. They charge far too much for the half-ass job they do. My color/highlights have not been right, I’ve had to go somewhere else while on vacation to get it right, my cut was so messed up last time that a stylist from somewhere else fixed it and she had to take almost an inch off in length to make the ends even – totally jagged. And last night I was there, showed them a picture of what I wanted and it looks NOTHING Like it. They changed the coloring system they use without ever mentioning it, so the guy “made up” what he thought would be close and it was nothing like it. So when he went back to make it redder, he got rid of all the highlights he put in. So NOTHING about this is correct! I’m done with this place.

The only reason I’m rating 2 stars is coz the cut turned ok..mind you not Fantabulous…ok. I showed up 10 min earlier to my appointment. The receptionist said she will leave let the stylist know abt my presence. That’s the last piece of communication. I waited a few min, found myself a chair in a corner, plugged in my dying phone, and had to entertain myself, as the stylist Jenna showed me 20 min late to the appointment. I wonder if they will still wait for me if I show 20 min late to the appointment. Noone, not the stylist or the receptionist even attempt to even apologize. When I said I didn’t know what was going on, she said, oh it has been crazy here today…
After the cut Jenna, the stylist decided that my curly hair needs to be flat ironed for a sleek look( I didn’t ask for it).
Then I was charged 71$ for a 45 $ haircut…I was told that she also did a full service flat iron. When I said that I was told that styling came with the service, some other lady interjected to mumble something…then the stylist came back and said that I should be charged as an add-on. And they charge 55$.
I didn’t think a tip was necessary, as it was already a rip-off.
