Having my hair colored and cut by Sydney was the best choice in hair care I have ever made. She was so personable and professional it was amazing! However, most of all she gave me my best hair color and style ever! My only regret is that when I called back to have her a second time, she is no longer there! I hope wherever she has gone, she is happy and well for she is amazing! She also referred me to an amazing eyebrow specialist at Ulta! Best wishes Sydney, I am so pleased with my hair and brows! I will miss you!

I generally enjoy shopping at Ulta. I’ve been to several stores and have NEVER been treated like I was today. From the very moment I walked in the store, I was followed by 2 and 3 associates. I had a basket full of probably $300 worth of make up and other items. After about 20 minutes of being stalked like I was about to rob the place I got the 2 items from my basket that I originally wanted to get and left. I had been in this store a few times before and was never treated this way. While Ulta has some nice products be prepared to be treated like a criminal if you shop in there.

so this is a review for ulta salon… prior to going in i had chemically damaged hair. i created this disaster back in aug of 2019. I had went to a reputable salon a week prior to get something done. i was pretty open to anything considering what i was working with. that reputable salon didnt really want to do much with it and wanted to color it in stages. that sounded pricey so i went to ulta with no hope. but they were willing to do whatever i wanted with the understanding i could potentially damage it further. they did talk with me about what i was thinking and we agreed on a dark purple with shadow root. i wanted different dimensions of purple. i wish i knew the ladies name who did my hair however long story short she did a great job and after 2 washings since leaving the salon my hair is more softer and overall healthier. not only is my hair better but the price though was cheap. i was thinking 150 to 200 for what she did i left with a hundred dollar bill not including the tip. i am so happy with my hair and i I included pictures. you can just look at hair and can tell that its healthy. which is just mind blowing to me. will definitely return and definitely reccomend. will update with the name of the hair dresser.

Fun to browse. If you are looking for a higher-end brand, they likely have it. They don’t have a lot of the “drugstore” hair care brands, but have a lot of the luxury lines, and a lot of makeup.
I think they need carts. Myself and other people in line were dropping their products

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an online order for my mother. The item was unable for online order and pickup in Her town, so I ordered it for pickup in a nearby town (Springfield, IL). Due to excessive snow, she was unable to pickup the order herself. I spoke with Lisa, the store manager in Springfield and told her of the dilemma and stated my sister-in-law can come pick up the item. I was told “no”. I called the toll free customer service line and was told it was up to the store’s discretion if they’ll allow a different person to pick up the item. I was unable to make any changes to the order online.

I have never run into this type of confusion. I’ve ordered much more expensive items from retailers like Tiffany & Co and have been able to send another person to pick up the items in my absence as long as they had all the correct information. I find it ridiculous that we were unable to have a surrogate pick up a $18 item. My mother is a senior citizen who does not drive in heavy snow, I found the Springfield store very un-accommodating. This was my first interaction with your store; and it is my last.

Too expensive and didn’t have what I wanted.

Upon walking in, it sure looks like they have anything-and-everything related to beauty. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I needed. L’Oreal item–empty. Garnier item–empty. Nail polish section–very empty. With all the cosmetics, I presumed they would carry Shiseido, but sadly they don’t.

I checked out the Tony Moly face mask sheets, and O.M.G. they are expensive here. The face mask sheets ranged from $3.75 to $6.00 each!! That is the most expensive I have seen them anywhere. At the Korean stores in Chicago-area, they sell for $1.50 to $2.00 each. Even online and Walmart sell them cheaper than Ulta.

First time going and it was awesome! Taylor Jackson is the one that gives the facials and she’s definitely a pro at what she does. Can’t believe I haven’t been going all this time, first time getting a facial ever and I’m extremely satisfied. I already have an appointment next month again! Very happy!
